Nazareth Care Services Ltd (“we”, “us”), trading as Nazareth Care Services, provides care staff to homes and healthcare organisations across Merseyside. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nazareth.care, how we use it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

2. What we collect and why
If you send us an enquiry (Contact page)
- What: your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
- Why: to reply to your enquiry and discuss our services.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
If you apply for a job (Apply page)
- What: your name, email address, phone number, the role you are applying for, and your CV, including whatever it contains (such as your address, work history, qualifications and references).
- Why: to consider your application, contact you about it and, if you are successful, begin the recruitment process.
- Lawful basis: taking steps at your request to enter into a contract, our legitimate interests in recruiting suitable staff, and your consent (the box you tick before submitting).
- Please note: we do not need information about your health, religion, ethnicity or similar sensitive details at this stage. Please remove them from your CV before uploading it. If you include them, we will handle them with care and only as far as needed for your application.
Security and technical data
- When you send a form, your IP address is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are a real person and not a bot. We also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a short time to limit repeated submissions. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, date and time) for security and fault-finding.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in keeping the website and our forms secure.
3. Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Our website does not set cookies of its own. Cloudflare Turnstile loads only on the Contact and Apply pages and is used purely for security. Because we use no non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and handle your messages, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: provides the Turnstile security check. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- Google (Google Workspace): form submissions, including CVs, are sent by email through Google and stored in our Google Workspace mailboxes. See the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- Hostinger: hosts the website and its servers, which may keep standard server logs.
- Professional advisers, regulators or the authorities, where we are legally required to, or need advice to protect our rights.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards the law recognises, such as the UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
- Unsuccessful job applications and CVs: up to 6 months after the recruitment decision. If you would like us to keep your details for future vacancies, we will ask you first.
- Successful applicants: your details become part of your staff record, and we will give you a separate privacy notice.
- Security data: short-term, usually no more than a few days for hashed IP addresses.
After these periods we delete the information or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- be told how your information is used (this policy);
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information;
- object to us using your information based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it (this does not affect what we did before); and
- ask for your information in a portable format, where this applies.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will normally reply within one month. We may need to check your identity first.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (opens in a new tab) or 0303 123 1113.
8. Security
Our website uses HTTPS, and we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid including anything in a message that you would not want to share.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our Terms of Use.
